“Stay Home” blends languages, nationalities, and lush layers into an optimistic pandemic-era chillhop anthem.

Aleppo, Syria natives Assasi (now of USA) and Sarbasst (now of Greece) share thoughts from their home studio quarantines over lofi sounds by Scotland-based producer Haquin, with American vocalist S6ef adding a melodic bridge.

The overall message, delivered in Arabic and English, is this: Social distancing sucks, but we’ve got to stick it out to protect the ones we love. And if we can get this right, there’s hope for an even better world on the other side.
